Cinema Verde EcoFair

Cinema Verde is an international environmental film and arts festival now in its ninth year – the team works to broaden the reach of sustainability education and to help make the world a place where we want to live.

The Cinema Verde Eco Fair is an event to inspire people to learn about taking action for health, compassion, and environmental sustainability through compelling films, expert discussions, and community members who are leading the way toward a sustainable future.

Cinema Verde International Environmental Film and Arts Festival is a project of, an environmental news website created to inform about concerns and promote sustainable businesses, jobs, and resources, and Green Drinks Gainesville, a local chapter off an international networking group open to anyone interested in sustainable issues.

The event is coordinated by founder and director, Trish Riley. This year, Cinema Verde is partnering with Solutionary Events for the Eco Fair on February 10th from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at Heartwood Soundstage!

Come enjoy meeting eco-friendly vendors, listening to live music, learning yoga, and experiencing life-changing films and discussions. Bring your kids to learn how to make eco-friendly crafts!
