Connecting the Community to Create a Solutionary World
VeganEvan, Solutionary Species Spokesperson and Co-President of Animal Hero Kids
VeganEvan is a passionate and talented young animal advocate committed to creating a healthy, compassionate, and regenerative world through his amazing work as Co-President of Animal Hero Kids, as well as through his own personal ideas and strategies for animal activism.
Animal Hero Kids is an all volunteer organization with a mission to empower children to be teachers and advocates for a solutionary lifestyle. VeganEvan has inspired many through his powerful speeches and knowledge. At only 7 years old, Evan has the potential to change the world through the incredible influence he has already had on people he’s met.
VeganEvan has spoken in front of large audiences at several major events throughout Florida, including Central Florida Earth Day, Central Florida Veg Fest, Space Coast Veg Fest, Sarasota Veg Fest, Gainesville VegFest, and Tampa Bay Veg Fest. He has been awarded the Russell Simmons Creative Animal Hero Kids Award, and in 2016, he earned PETA’s Cutest Vegan Kid award. Evan, his mom, and grandmother are true solutionaries (people who choose to be a part of the world’s solutions) and have put in an extraordinary amount of effort toward the vegan movement. The 3 of them recently started up a new business called 3GV designs (3 generations of vegans) and are using their products to support animal sanctuaries and solutionary organizations all throughout the country!
Jenna Bardroff, Executive Director of Vegetarians of Central Florida
Jenna is an event coordinator, humane educator, and solutionary (a solution-oriented individual who consistently endeavors to create healthy, compassionate, and regenerative communities). Making the decision to be vegetarian at the age of 5, Jenna has always been motivated by the reward of making the world a better place. At 14 years old, Jenna initiated her first animal education program at a unique sanctuary, the same year she began college and adopted a vegan lifestyle. She has a B.S. degree in Integrative Biology, a Master of Arts degree in Humane Education, and has spent over 10 years researching the solutions to and consequences of problematic cultural eating behaviors. Jenna is an ambassador for the movement of transforming humans from a problematic species to a solutionary species and volunteers for the non-profit organization, Solutionary Events.
Kevin Layton, Solutionary Events Advisory Board Member
Kevin is an automotive collision repair technician, avid rock climber, event coordinator, humane educator, and Solutionary. He has embraced a vegan lifestyle since January 2016 and since has become passionate about environmental protection, social justice, and animal rights. He feels strongly about using humane education as a means of effectively changing hearts and opening minds to living conscientiously and compassionately. Kevin is a representative of Solutionary Species, a movement to transform people from being problematic to being a part of the world’s solutions instead. Beginning in 2017, Kevin has volunteered his time with VegCF and Solutionary Events to help organize several large vegan events throughout Florida.
Nikki Namdar, Founder of Orlando Vegans
Nikki Namdar began her vegetarian journey in 2005 after seeing slaughterhouse videos by PETA. She always had a heart for animals and learned fast she wanted to take them off her plate. After meeting animal activist Jane Velez-Mitchell in 2011, she decided to omit all animal products from her life and launched Orlando Vegans two years later. As the founder of one of the leading vegan groups in Orlando, Nikki has connected her community and conducted charities, as well as food tastings all around Central Florida. Orlando Vegans began as a school project and a way for her to meet vegan friends. She is the food coordinator for both Central Florida Earth Day and Central Florida Veg Fest. She has been featured on FOX News and WESH, helping to spread the cruelty-free message. She is the mother to eight rescue kitties and a smiley pit bull named Cookie. She enjoys spending her free time cuddling animals, being fed by her vegan boyfriend, and introducing people to the vegan lifestyle through delicious foods.
Royce Ashcroft and Imari Spigner, Founders of Noor 17
Royce Ashcroft and Imari Spigner are one of Florida’s hottest and most active vegan couples! Royce (vegan since January 2016) and Imari (vegan since April 2017) met one other at an open mic show that Royce was the host of in April 2017 and the couple are now engaged! Together they have started Noor 17, which is a VEGAN modeling & talent network. The fundamental purpose behind the network is to make being vegan more mainstream. Noor 17 hosts a wide range of events such as social mixers, fashion shows, public speaking workshops, and the list goes on and on. Royce started off with his own indie gameshow called “The Reel Royce Show” and has been booking gigs ever since. At a point in his career, Royce was hosting the dinner shows for BB Kings every night and with that consistency is where he feels he made the most progress. He is now getting ready to launch a Vegan talk show called, “Royce Airs”, where he will be interviewing different vegans who have amazing things going on all over the world! Royce and Imari have hosted several major vegan events, including Gainesville Veg Fest and Central Florida Earth Day.
